About this event

  • 1 day 23 hours

Welcome to the UIA National Summit on Student Success Innovation! Join us at the Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU for a dynamic event focused on driving innovation in student success. Connect with thought leaders, educators, and innovators to explore cutting-edge strategies and best practices. Don't miss this opportunity to network, learn, and collaborate with peers from across the country. Let's work together to shape the future of student success!

We'll be celebrating ten years of building experiences that help campuses take action. Bring your team. We are designing this event to be some learning and some doing. We find that when you come as a team you are able to learn together, build a plan together and see impact faster. We have registration available for teams of 3 or teams of 5 and recommend that you bring the team that most impacts student success.

If you are interested in supplying scholarship funds that will support new innovation clusters and networks and enable attendance and travel, especially for roles and institutions that rarely have the capacity for professional development, please contact Bridget Burns at bridget@theuia.org.

If you have questions about registration, please contact our event coordinater, Mary Elizabeth at mary@swaimstrategies.com.

Check out our highlight reel from our last Summit below.

The University Innovation Alliance is the leading national coalition of public research universities committed to increasing the number and diversity of college graduates in the United States.

We share a sense of urgency about this work because we are public universities with a public mission. Higher education needs to do a better job of graduating students across the socioeconomic spectrum, particularly low-income students, first-generation students, and students of color. Raising graduation rates is imperative for individual social mobility and U.S. global competitiveness.

For too long, colleges and universities wasted time and resources trying to solve this graduation challenge by themselves. It was inefficient and ineffective, and students paid the price. In 2014, we flipped the script. We decided to innovate together. We set ambitious goals, opened up our data, and agreed to share everything we learn.
